With a passion for movement and a background in graphic design, I have always seen a parallel between the shapes on a page and bodies in space. Through this lens, I approach choreography by deconstructing traditional technique and re-inventing new patterns of the body - creating cyclical movements, spirals, falling and catching through space. I am interested in “flux”, those vulnerable and often transformative moments in a person’s life, and how this energy of transformation translates into movement with the aim to create visually compelling, musically driven dance that can speak to human experience.
